Nomenclature Note:
Found in the Xuan Lien Nature Reserve, North Vietnam which the epithet derives its name.
Description:
Described from a single individual. Morphologically similar to Q. edithiae having 8-11 pairs of secondary veins, but differing in serrulate leaf margins at the apex and much longer acorns.
Natural Distribution:
VIETNAM: Thanh Hoa Province, Thuong Xuan District, Xuan Lien Nature Reserve.
